Preserve, Preserve, Preserve!

Simply put, forensic collection and preservation is the process of making an EXACT copy of electronically stored information (ESI) residing on a server, hard drive, thumb drive, smartphone or other digital storage device. It is a relatively straightforward process, yet critical that it is executed properly. Our examiners have international experience Preserving and examining ESI.

Culling

Our team will discuss the desired file types with your staff to target during culling, so you don't waste valuable resources sifting through meaningless data. These files will usually include work-product such as: email, word processor documents, spreadsheets, PDFs and all other types of files intended for a human to read and understand.

Processing Files

This step involves the extraction and preservation of metadata, extraction of full-text and conversion to a specified file type, if needed. Whether you are using FlightDeck, our web-based document review platform or some other database, we can format your information so it is 100% portable.
